Railroad Excursion.
We see by the Colonist that the Board of Directors of the Ontario, Simcoe and Huron Railroad, accompanied by the Chief and Assistant Engineers, made an excursion on the line on Wednesday, to Machell's Corners, a distance of 28 miles, being all the portion completed. They started at 10 o'clock, and returned to the city again by 6 p.m., having visited the works in progress as far as Newmarket, and partaken of a comfortable repast at the house of Mr. McGatley, one of the sub contractors.
