Conductor Harry Bell, of Sarnia, had his leg broken by the derailment of some cars on a freight train on the Grand Trunk near here yesterday.

The G.T.R. grain sheds at Thornton were destroyed by fire this morning.

The Grand Trunk Railway Company has refunded to Thomas Myles & Sons the overcharges paid on coal freights under protest, and the railway company has dropped the overcharge.
