C.N.R. contemplates a $60,000 structure at Davenport
The city has commecned work on the replacement of water mains and services in preparation for the construction of the St. Clair Ave. subways, which will be commecned by the Canadian National Railways.
The contract for the subway on the Newmarket line has been awarded to the R.H. Mason Construction Co.
The C.N.R. is contemplating the replacement of the old Davenport station with a new $60,000 structure, plans for which have not yet been definitely approved. It will be located north of St. Clair.
