Improvements at Station.—The station buildings are getting a thorough renovating, all newly painted, inside and outside, new floors laid, and also a new platform, which gives quite a fresh and pleasing appearance, instead of the sombre aspect borne heretofore.

South Norwich.

Money Grant.—The council of South Norwich have granted fifty dollars for the purpose of gravelling the road leading to Cornell Station on the C. S. R. R. The gravel is to be placed on the road between Wood's Hotel and the Station. The pathmaster, Mr. Smith, is grading the road and preparing it for the gravel. It is necessary that the above should be done as a great deal of freight passes over the road, as well as a daily conveyance between Otterville and Cornell for the conveyance of passengers to and from the station to meet each passenger train.
