James Bay Ry.—The grading on the 5 miles of line to connect the Canada Atlantic Ry. with Parry Sound, is very nearly completed, and it is expected that the work will be finished and track laid before winter. Surveying for the extension of this line in the direction of Sudbury across the French river, will be prosecuted in the spring, and further building done. It is understood that this line will form part of the eastern extension of the Canadian Northern Ry. (Sept., pg. 273.)
