In addition to the above, there is the right of way, which had to be paid for to the fullest extent in most of the sections—the fencing of the line—the engineering expenses—incidental expenses—Surveyors' expenses—and the expense of Inspectors—which, being added to the above amount, makes a total of £140,38X 11s 5d. Such was the state of the expenditure on the Great Western Railroad, on the first day of last month; and we are happy to state, that there are sufficient funds on hand, and secured to complete the undertaking within two years.—British American.
