The railway aid question.
A meeting in Ayton concerning the Stratford and Lake Huron Road.
Ayton, Feb. 3.—A large and influential meeting was held here to-day to consider the advisability of sending a deputation to Toronto to wait on the Attorney-General in the interests of the Stratford and Lake Huron Railway. Quite a number of delegates were appointed, and the following resolutions were put and carried unanimously by the meeting:—Moved by W. J. Watson, seconded by Dr. McLean.
