New train service.

Parry Sound now has through G.T.R. connection with Toronto.

Special Despatch to The Globe.

Parry Sound, June 18.—The first train ever run between Buffalo and Toronto and this point arrived here tonight over the Canada Atlantic line, recently acquired by the Grand Trunk Railway Company. The vestibuled train, which carried many Buffalo and Toronto passengers, included handsome specially constructed parlor, dining and first-class coaches, and it was met by many prominent residents of the Parry Sound District. It is expected that the new through connection between Buffalo and Toronto and this town will no doubt bring increased travel to this delightful tourist region.

District Passenger Agent J. D. Macdonald of Toronto and a number of other officials were on the first train.

Railways: C.A.Ry., G.T.Ry.
