Lake Erie & Northern Railway Bonds
Brantford ratepayers will vote on purchase on the 21st inst.

Brantford, June 2.—The City Council, at a special meeting, put through a by-law to purchase the bonds of the Lake Erie & NOrthern Railway Company to the amount of $125,000. The ratepayers will vote on the by-law on June 24. Representatives citizens interviewed have declared themselves unanimously in favor of the measure, by which this city will secure a new line to Port Dover and Galt. Following the vote in Brantford, by-laws will be submitted in Port Dover, Paris, Simcoe and Galt, for the purchase of $25,000 worth of bonds by each municipality.
