L.E. & N. opening deferred.
Brantford, March 22.—(Special.)—Negotiations are still proceeding between the Lake Erie & Northern Railway and the Grand trunk for the use by the former of the latter's entrance into Port Dover. In the meantime the formal opening of the line has been postponed. Should the negotiations fail the radial can use St. Patrick street, but the high cost and scarcity of rails may further hold up the work.
