Kingston. March 4.—The Canadian Locomotive Co. here has concluded a contract with the Grand Trunk Railway Co. for ten large Mikado type engines. These engines, together with those the works are building for the Canadian Government railways, the British War Office, and the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo Railway, and additional shell orders taken within the past two weeks, ensure capacity operations for both plants for a considerable time. There are 1,200 men employed at the works.
