Sir Adam Beck among passengers in wreck yesterday

No one reported hurt

Canadian National Railway train No. 35, bound for Parry Sound, which left Toronto 4.30, Standard time, yesterday afternoon, was delayed for about four hours at Thornlea station last evening by the derailing of the baggage car.

The baggage car was derailed at a switch near the station. The train was taking the switch to allow the down train from Parry Sound, No. 34, to pass on its way into Toronto. The baggage car remained upright, and very little damage was done.

The two baggagemen in the car were not hurt. Passengers in the coaches were jarred a but, but none were injured sufficiently to require the attention of a doctor. The train for Toronto, due to the accident, did not get through to this city until nearly midnight.

Sir Adam Beck, Chairman of the Ontario Hydro Commission, was a passenger on the train bound for this city, having been to Muskoka for the weeekend. Sir Adam telephone into the city for an auto, and motored into Toronto.
