Ald. McBrien and Ald. MacGregor from Ward Six, and Ald. Davy of Ward Seven, both of which are vitally interested in the question of eliminating steam railway level crossings on Bloor street west, Royce and Wallace avenue and St. Clair avenue west, press for action on this matter. Ald. MacGregor moves that the Dominion Government be memoralized to have these dangerous crossings eliminated at the earliest possible date, and Ald. McBrien asks that reports and estimates be prepared ready for making an application to the Ontario Railway Board for the depression of the steam railway tracks to do away with these crossings. Ald. Davy moves that the City Solicitor be instructed to press for an early hearing of the city's application to the Dominion Railway Board on this grade separation problem.  ..
