Stratford railway shops are put back on full time.
Special Despatch to The Globe.
Stratford, Jan. 29.—The Canadian National shops return this week to the 44-hour schedule. Orders have gone out that the men will work on Saturday morning. No explanation of the change was forthcoming from the shops today, in the absence of Superintendent John Roberts. The added four hours means a considerable increase in the semi-monthly payroll, and affects not only the recipients in the first place, but merchants and business in the city generally.
