East Windsor subway plan approved by Railway Board

Ottawa, Jan. 5.—The Board of Railway Commissioners, in a judgment now made public, has approved the application of the City of East Windsor for authority to construct a subway under the Canadian National Railways tracks at Drouillard Road. Forty per cent. of the cost of construction is to be paid out of the railway grade-crossing fund, the order provides, the remainder of the cost to be divided between the city and the railway company. The cost of maintenance is to be borne by the city.
