C.N.R. abandoning Harrisburg line.
Brantford, March 15 (CP).—Abandonment of the C.N.R. branch line between Harrisburg and Paris, operating from the Brant County siding on the Brantford-Galt Highway to Paris, is planned, it was learned today. The Township of South Dumfries and Paris have consented to the abandonment, but have asked that the railway straighten and grade road allowances in the four places where there are overhead bridges, without cot to the municipalities.
