Council Meeting.—. .. On motion, made and seconded, Mr. Southwick was appointed delegate to proceed to Toronto to consult R.A. Harrison, Esq., respecting validity of by-law No. 156 granting a bonus of ten thousand dollars to the Port Dover and Lake Huron Railway Company. On motion, made and seconded, the clerk [John Cooper] was was authorized to give certain papers to Mr. Southwich to lay before Mr. Harrison. ..
