Otterville.—Mr. H. Shattuck along with others who in the past fought hard against the Port Dover and Lake Huron R. R. by-law agreed to give up the contest on the condition that the council pay the expense already incurred by them. Of course our council, which is always ready to respond to such calls, paid over the required amount out of the public funds. Will the ratepayers of South Norwich approve this?
