Princeton.

Five cows of Messrs. Hamlin, Harp and Griggs were killed on the Great Western a few days ago. One of the railway gates on the farm of Mr. William Showers, sen., was left open, which enabled these cattle to stray upon the track. The grade is heavy at this part of the road, about 3 miles east of Princeton, and the express train going east could not be stopped to prevent the accident. As might be expected, the poor animals were badly mutilated.
