A committee on the Metropolitan railway reported that $1,700 be accepted from the company as its share of the cost of the sub-structure of the proposed bridge at York Mills. The matter carried in Committee of the Whole by a vote of 8 to 7. In Council it became a tie. Warden Davidson voted in favor of it, and the proposition was accepted.
