We doubt if Oak Ridges ever witnessed such a scene of activity. The Metropolitan Ry. has about twenty-five teams engaged in hauling gravel. The gravel is being taken from the pit on Mr. Norman's farm, and placed in heaps along the road. Several teams are also hauling ties ready for the track in the spring.
