Commences on Monday.
Work on the Metropolitan Extensions, from Bond's Lake to Newmarket, will commence at the power house at 7 o'clock next Monday morning. 150 men are engaged and Col. Lloyd has instructions to employ 50 more at $1.25 per day. Manager Moyes expected to reach Newmarket in three weeks. Over 100 men in this vicinity have been engaged to work on the road.
