A big order.
Cane's factory is enjoying a wonderful trade boom. Notwithstanding increase of machinery in the pail department the orders are about 20 cars ahead of the manufactured article. It has been this way, more or less ever since last September. The other part of the factory is now got a boom on. Orders for screen doors and windows are coming in, and in addition to that industry the firm has taken a contract for 4,000 or more hardwood tables to go to England. They are to turn out 500 a week and this alone will give employment to 20 men for about two or three months.
