The opening of the Metropolitan extension to Bond's Lake was celebrated Wednesday by an enjoyable little part gathering, consisting of Mr. H. S. Howland, Mr. D. R. Wilkie (president of the Imperial Bank), Mr. and Mrs. William Ramsay of Bowlands, Scotland, Miss Howland, Mr. C. D. Warren (president of the road) and Mr. J. W. Moyes (manager). On arrival at the lake, the gathering was given a sail on the steam yacht GipsyFor further information on the Gypsy see pg. 8, col. 3., and on the return a recherché lunch was provided. A feature of the trip was the operating of the first car by Miss Howland.
