Newmarket depot.
There is quite a lot of wheat and oats coming into Newmarket, but the farmers appear to be feeding all the barley they have raised.
The export shipments on the G. T. R. last month, at Newmarket station, were the largest on record.
Both Dennie and Perrin are shipping eggs to England by the carload.
For the week ending Nov. 12, the shipments at the G. T. R. depot were as follows:
Inward—Merchandise 9, coal 5, slabs 4, brick 1, lumber 7, oil 1, granite 1, cement 1, stone 2, cattle 1, bran 1—total 33 cars.
Outward—Canes Woodenware 8, grain 7, livestock 5, snow shovels 1, eggs 3, office furniture 2, marsh hay 1, household goods 2, miscellaneous 7—total 42Actual tally of outward cars shown is 36. cars.
