East Gwillimbury Council.
The regular meeting of the Municipality Council fo the Township of East Gwillimbury was held on the above date all members present except Mr. Brodrick.
Minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed.
Communications read from the C.N.R. re closing of the 8th con. line at lot 10 to eliminate the railway crossing at that point and building a new road east of the Tract to the County road where the railway crosses said county road.
Fairbran-Smith—That By-Law No. 15 passed Jan. 11th, 1915 for the purpose of paying a bonus under certain conditions for wire fences along the roads be rescinded and that a by-law to that effect be dealt with at the next meeting of the Council. Carried.
Obsorne-White—That the clerk be authorized to put up notices re the closing of C.N.R. crossing at lot 10 Concession 8 and to prepare a by-law to that effect for the next meeting of this Council. And also re the closing of part of the sideroad lots 110 and 111 from Bradford stone road west to the Townline between East Gwillimbury and King Township. Carried.
White-Osborne—That the Auditors report be adopted as read the same being satisfactory. Carried.
