Whitney to Big Opeongo Lake.—The line from Whitney, on the Canada Atlantic Ry., to Big Opeongo lake, in Algonquin Park, Ont., about 15 miles in length, constructed for the St. Anthony Lumber Co., has been placed in operation. The line cost about $200,000, this high cost being accounted for by the large amount of rock-cutting and trestle work to be done. There are four high trestles, each being over 400 ft. in length.
