Kingston subway.—The Railway Committee of the Privy Council has ordered the construction of a subway under the tracks at the Montréal st. crossing, just outside Kingston, Ont. The Co. will have to bear the expense of the subway, about $25,000, and the city of Kingston and the county of Frontenac the cost of the approaches, $5,000 The Kingston city council is not satisfied with the arrangement, and is making application to the Railway Committee of the Privy Council to have the question reopened.
