The Canadian Home Journal says:—The Air Line Railway Bridge over the Otter, near Tillsonburg, is being vigorously pushed, it consists of eleven spans of Howe truss of 100 feet each, resting upon twelve towers like those of the Kettle Creek bridge. These towers are now completed; so is the trestle work at both ends. Major Ellison is now proceeding with the superstructure. The whole will be completed by June, ready for the iron rails. The bridge is 1320 feet long and from the bottom to the base of rail the height is 110 feet. It is the heaviest wood structure of the kind in the Dominion.
