Notice to contractors
Sealed tenders, marked "Tenders for Grading, etc.," "Tenders for Fencing," "Tenders for Ties," "Tenders for Bridging," addressed to A. D. Wright, Chief Engineer, S. & H. R., Stratford, for sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 from Stratford to Listowel, will be received at the Company's office at Stratford up to noon on Wednesday, 28th inst., excepting the grading, clearing and grubbing of sections nos. 1, 2, and 3, now under contract.
Tenders for ties in quantities of 500 and upwards will be received.
Tenders for grading, clearing, grubbing, fencing and bridging will be received for portions or for the whole work. Plans and specifications can be seen, and form of tender obtained at the Company's office, on and after Tuesday, the 20th inst.
Plans and specifications can be seen at Milverton, "Hood's Hotel," on Wednesday, the 21st, and at Listowel, Thursday and Friday, 22nd and 23rd at "Gibson's Hotel."
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
