Pottery Road bridge
Work on concrete structure is about to commence
Construction work on the new Pottery Rd. bridge is expected to commence within the next few days. At the last meeting of the East York township council the contract to build the bridge was awarded to R. H. McGregor, M.P., who estimated the cost at $8,350. The bridge will cross the Don River, between Bloor St. viaduct and the East York Leaside viaduct. The old bridge on the location collapsed last year with a large truckload of bricks on it.
