Grand River Railway, Galt, Ont.—The Grand River Railway reports that it has under construction a 2-mile diversion of its Hespeler branch between Preston and Hespeler, for purpose of getting on higher ground away from the river, and the consequent damage as a result of spring freshets, as well as to provide a straight line with a view to increasing the service.
