The G.T.R. train leaving Penetang at 6 a.m. on Friday was stalled for six hours in a snow drift some six miles north of Colwell. The passengers had left Penetang before breakfast and suffered severely from the pangs of hunger till relieved by the kindly offices of a warm-hearted farmer. Among the belated travelers were Messrs. McCormack and Young, of Bay City; McEachern, of Emlvale, S. Samuel and V. Gianelli, of Toronto; Dr. McRae, of Galt; and Raikes and O'Hara, of Niagara. The passengers are loud in their praise of the kindness shown them by Conductor Jack Ferguson and his crew.
