Trackman Tooney and his gang completed the western end of the siding at the steel works last week and will commence at the eastern extension this week. Mr. W. R. Tiffin, District Superintendent, and Mr. Cheer, Roadmaster of the G.T.R., have inspected the work and pronounced it satisfactory, the former complimenting Mr. Tooney on the job. The western end of the switch leads into the quarry, whence the stone is being brought which is now being placed int he walls of the building by the twenty or thirty masons who are at work.
