Locomotive No. 398 on a southbound way freight jumped the track coming into Huntsville yard Friday evening about six o'clock just after crossing a switch. The train, which consisted of fourteen cars, was proceeding slowly and the engine went less than her own length, but ran into the ditch, leaving the hind trucks of the tender on the rails. A gang of men was put to work and at ten o'clock had laid a new track alongside the engine. A locomotive from South River hauled the cars back, and the new line was completed. The train for North Bay, which left Toronto at 1.45, was held for two hours, but made connections at North Bay.
