W. J. Buchanan new Barrie C.N.R. agent

William J. Buchanan, of Gravenhurst, and formerly of Stayner, assumed his duties as Canadian National station agent in Barrie on Saturday. He succeeds J. M. Fellows, who has retired. Mr. Buchanan went to Gravenhurst two years ago, when Mr. Fellows came to Barrie. While in Stayner, Mr. Buchanan was one of the town's leading citizens, serving as mayor and as president of the Business Men's Association for several years. Though in Gravenhurst but a short time he was a member of the town council.
