One car on two tracks.

The novel sight of seeing parts of the same train running on two tracks was witnessed here last Thursday morning, when the Hamilton [train] started to back over to Barrie. The front trucks on the last coach went down one track after passing the switch, while the other trucks stuck to the other track. The train proceeded about one hundred yards at a slow speed when the coach was derailed and the line blocked for several hours. No person was injured, and but slight damage was done to the rolling stock and road bed.

Railways: G.T.Ry.
