Railway notes.

...

At ten o'clock Saturday morning, March 10th a freight train pulled out of the Orillia yard, running towards Atherley, under Driver McMillan and Conductor Patton. When near Baye's crossing a car about the centre of the train jumped the track and six others piled up on top of it. The cars were flats and empty. The train had just reached the top of the grade and was getting up speed when the accident happened. None of the crew were hurt. The wrecking train came up from Allandale and cleared the track in about four hours.—Orillia Times.
