The Mayor of London and F. H. McGuigan, Fourth Vice-President, had an interview recently with respect to the elevation of the tracks in London. The plans, which will be submitted at an early date, will provide for the elevation of six or eight tracks through the city, the construction of a new station, the re-arrangement of the yards and the erection of a new freight shed. A new station at East London is also possible. The expenditure involved is estimated at about $1,000,000. Press reports state that an hotel will also be built at London by the company.
