G.T.R. betterments, construction, etc.
Office building at Québec.—The G.T.R. has recently purchased property in Québec for the purpose of erecting a commodious building for office purposes. It is located on the corner of Ste. Anne and Du Fort streets, at the eastern end of Dufferin terrace and directly opposite the promenade. At present the G.T.R. ticket office and the I.C.R. ticket office are now occupying these premises on the ground floor, with residents living above the offices, but it is the intention of the G.T.R. to erect a six-story office building on the site. City ticket office, local freight office, and other offices of the company will be located in the new premises.
