Waterdown Road bridge.—The company propose to raise the bridge at Waterdown road, Hamilton, Ont., 4 ft., so as to make it 23 ft. above the tracks, to comply with the Railway Act. The proposal is meeting with strong objection by those who use the road, as the approach at present is one in twelve. The county engineer suggested that a subway should be constructed, and estimates the cost at about $6,500.
