London improvements.—At a meeting of the railway committee of the London, Ont., City Council, held July 5, a resolution was passed declining to accept the G.T.R. plans providing for the elevation of the tracks in the city. The new proposal provided for a portion of the work only, but the committee is of opinion that it is unwise to accept any proposal which does not include the entire line within the limits.
