News from the railway ward.
Since the C.N.R. and G.T.R. tracks have been connected up at Washago, direct connection is made with northern points on the C.N.R. There is a regular daily C.N.R. freight run now between Parry Sound and Allandale, both ways. C.N. crews handle the freight both ways.
