The car barns and shops of the Galt, Preston & Hespeler Street Railway and the Preston & Berlin Railway at Preston, Ont., were totally destroyed by the fire during the early morning of December 4. The loss amounts to about $75,000 including eight valuable interurban cars which were in the building.
