Muir, President, Is reported as stating on his return to Brantford, Ont., Aug. 2, from Montréal, that the financing of the company had been arranged for, and that tenders for the building of the line would be called for immediately. Montréal press reports, Aug. 2, state that a meeting of directors was held in that city on the previous day, when an agreement was concluded with G. W. It is expected that these will be in and the contract let early in September. The northern portion of the line from Brantford to Galt will be put under construction first and it is hoped to have it completed this year.
