Brantford signal and interlocking installation.—The installation of a signal and interlocking system has been completed at Brantford, Ont., wherein 6 switches and 2 crossovers were equipped for electric operation. Control is from a nearby crossing gate tower. The expense of paying a switch-tender will be obviated. In addition to operating the switches, the installation will afford protection to trains which enter the station on the lines from Buffalo and Tillsonburg, and which have to run against the current of traffic for a short distance on the double track main line. The work was done under supervision of C. H. Tillet, Signal Engineer, Central Region.
