Canadian National Railways construction, betterments, etc.
Oshawa, Ont.—Negotiations are being proceeded with between the C.N.R. and Oshawa City Council, respecting the building of a subway under the railway tracks at Simcoe St. South, at an estimated cost of $114,000. It is reported that the city council is applying to the Board of Railway Commissioners for an order in the matter. A press report states that the railway has under consideration the erection of an improved station building at a cost of $65,000.
