The Canadian National has placed a contract with the General Railway Signal Company covering materials for a direct-current automatic block signal installation between North Edmonton, Alta., and Clover Bar, a distance of 4.5 miles. Included in this order are 9 Model-2A signals, 10 Model-5 switch circuit controllers, 10 switch indicators, 6 battery chutes, 10 adjustable resistance units, 27 Model-9E relays, and other miscellaneous materials.
