The Canadian National Railways has awarded a contract to the Union Switch & Signal Company, Swissvale, Pa., to remodel the mechanical interlocking plant at the intersection of the Niagara, St. Catharines & Toronto with the Grand Trunk at Elm street, Port Colborne, Ont. The work involves a four-lever Saxby and Farmer dwarf machine, to operate in connection with a cabin door lock installation, with traffic set for normal movements over the Grand Trunk.
