Car burned.
No. 57 Metropolitan car was burned in Newmarket about midnight Wednesday night. The car was standing on the switch near the station. The plate glass windows in the Sovereign Bank close by were cracked by the heat, but the building was saved. The origin of the fire is unknown though suspicion rests on a tramp who was seen in the place earlier in the evening.
